ETHICS IN PUBLIC LEADERSHIP ASSIGNMENT
Ethics are the foundation of the social contract between leaders and followers. Without trust, followers are unlikely to grant the leader the support necessary to accomplish anything noteworthy. Leaders, consciously or not, have an ethical code that guides them in their activities. This assignment is meant to distinguish the nuances and reflect on what these models mean to the student in their leadership journey.
INSTRUCTIONS :
· Examine the 5 ethics models given by Wart (2011) and comment of their attributes.
· Critique what it means to be a Spiritual- Servant Leader in public service.
· Evaluate if ethical codes are enough for the Christian leader; do Christian leaders have a higher biblical moral obligation?
· Finally, apply at least 1 biblical passage to the concept or practice of ethics in leadership. Explain why you picked the passage and what it means to you. Write a minimum of 12 pages of content (2,500 – 3,000 words) Cite a minimum of 10 references. The paper should be in full APA format.
