Project Turnitin Originality Check
Introduction
If you’re wondering how to check the originality of your paper, this is the right place. Let’s talk about what Turnitin Originality Check is and how it works so that you can know if your paper is ready for submission.
Step 1 Review your Turnitin Originality Report
If you believe the report is incorrect, contact your instructor and let him know. If you believe the report is correct, make any necessary revisions to your paper and resubmit it.
Step 2 Make any necessary revisions to your paper
You will need to make any necessary revisions to your paper. Make sure you identify the parts of your paper that were flagged by Turnitin Originality Check, then make those edits before submitting it back to Turnitin.
If you need help with this process, see the Writing Center.
Step 3 Submit the revised paper back to Turnitin
To submit your paper to Turnitin, follow the instructions below:
-
From the “Papers” tab in your My Papers page, click on “Revise and Submit.” This will take you to a page with all of your previously submitted papers included on it. Select one of these papers, then click “Submit.” This will bring up another window where you can enter additional information about your revised paper (e.g., name and address). Once this is done and verified by Turnitin staff members, they’ll process it for review and grade!
Step 4 You’re done! Check back with the instructor’s feedback later.
You’re done!
Now that you’ve completed your assignment, it’s time to check back with the instructor’s feedback. If they gave you any suggestions on how to improve your work, take them into consideration before moving on.
Once you have made the necessary changes, submit your paper again to Turnitin. This time, be sure that your paper has passed the originality check.
