Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to create the Educating Staff: Implementing Change Project PowerPoint presentation. Your plan is to educate the staff that will be involved in the pilot program. You will need to educate them on the problem, show the supporting evidence, and how your pilot plan will be implemented.

1. Create an educational presentation for staff before the launch of your change project. This should inform the staff of the problem, your potential solution, and their role in change project.
2. The format for this proposal will be a PowerPoint presentation.
3. The length of the PowerPoint presentation should be 15-20 slides; excluding the title and reference slides.

I have been a nurse for over 25 years, and I can tell you that change is never easy. Change is difficult because it means many things to different people, but in this article we are going to focus on how to make the process of implementing change easier for yourself as an administrator or supervisor.
What is Change Management?
Change management is the process of managing change to ensure it is effective and efficient. It involves identifying the need for change, developing a plan and implementing it.
The term “change management” was coined by Charles Handy in his book The Age of Unreason: Marketing in an Insecure World (1990).

Implementing change in nursing is necessary because it can improve the quality of patient care, staff morale and the bottom line for your organization.

But after several rounds of these meetings with no results (or sometimes even negative ones), many of my co-workers became very frustrated because they felt like nothing had been achieved despite having spent countless hours discussing problems and possible solutions together over coffee breaks every day for several months straight!

We know change can be scary, but it’s not too late to learn how to implement it successfully. Remember, there are no perfect answers—just good ones.
