Write a paper of 500-750 words (not including the title page and reference page) on your proposed problem description for your EBP project. The paper should address the following:

1. Describe the background of the problem. Tell the story of the issue and why it deserves attention.
2. Identify the stakeholders/change agents. Who, or what organizations, are concerned, may benefit from, or are affected by this proposal. List the interested parties, patients, students, agencies, Joint Commission, etc.
3. Use the feedback from the Topic 2 main forum post and refine your PICOT question. Make sure that the question fits with your graduate degree specialization.
4. State the purpose and project objectives in specific, realistic, and measurable terms. The objective should address what is to be gained. This is a restatement of the question, providing focus. Measurements need to be taken before and after the evidence-based practice is introduced to identify the expected changes.
5. 5) Provide supportive rationale that the problem or issue is an important one for nursing to resolve using relevant professional literature sources.

You may be able to tell from the above information that your project is going to focus on childhood obesity or substance abuse. But if so, there might be other problems in this area that also need attention—perhaps childhood obesity is only one aspect of an overall health crisis affecting kids today (e.g., poor diets and lack of physical activity). In order for us all around the world to solve such issues together, we must first understand what they are.

The health problem is a lack of access to mental health services for individuals who experience severe anxiety and depression.

The issue is that there are many people suffering from these disorders who do not have the resources or support networks available to help them cope with their symptoms.

The cause of this problem can be traced back to social stigma surrounding mental illness, which causes many people to feel ashamed when they talk about their issues with others. These feelings prevent them from getting help until it’s too late and they end up going through emotional trauma or worse: suicide attempts!

If we want our society to improve its overall quality of life then we need more resources available so everyone has access to care regardless of socioeconomic status (SES).

• The age range of these individuals, which may help you determine whether they’re children or adults; this also helps you determine if it’s an issue for youth or adults only.

• The gender of these individuals (e.g., male/female). If they’re all male, then it might be more appropriate than if there were only female cases!

In order to identify the problem, you must first define the term. The definition of a problem is something that has been identified as an issue that needs to be addressed. By identifying this issue and conducting research on it, you can better understand how your solution will work in addressing this problem.

This can be local, regional or global depending on what type of evidence-based practice proposal you’re creating (eBP = Evidence Based Practice). If your project focuses on a specific country such as Argentina then it should be noted specifically within the body of your proposal; otherwise leave generalities such as “global” or “worldwide.”
