The final exam is based on a case study/vignette. Your role is that of a substance abuse counselor. Based on what you learned during the semester, you will need to type at least two pages addressing what you would do for the client/clients. Consider and address who, what, where, when, why, and how. If you do not know or are not aware of law and ethics for substance abuse counselors, please review the NAADAC/ NCC AP Ethical Standards. Address legal and safety issues pertaining to the vignette provided, as well as legal issues counselors have to keep in mind and follow. Best practice should address knowledge, skills, and attitude of you as a Substance Abuse Counselor.
