Allstate is a well-known insurance company offering a variety of services and products. We will attempt to provide a communication plan and how it may relate to the public. The purpose of the communication plan is to provide information necessary for all employees. Communication Summary
Training:
Training is a huge part of the overall changes that we are introducing to All State Insurance company therefore, the communication plan we introduced is imperative. The frequency of the training will be conducted by Human Resources senior management for all the employees. This will also allow employees growth within their customer service skills and allow upper management to share new information with the employees. The message being communicated is geared to focus on technology, diversity and policy and procedures. Productivity and production are what will be measured through the training practices by the Director of Human Resources.
Communication Escalator:
We decided to implement the communication escalator as the communication strategy to assist with employee training. The communication escalator transitions to awareness, support and commitment, allowing relationships to grow within the company as the change begins to emerge. According to the text, the awareness level is the degree of sharing information (Quirk,2008 p.236), information would be shared through the message portion of the communication plan. Below displays why the escalator strategy of communication is a great fit during training.

Subject: Training
This is to inform all staff members that we will be starting mandatory training classes on a quarterly basis. We are currently in the process of making changes for the company that will ultimately help the company grow and management would like for staff to enhance their customer service skills as part of the change. With these trainings we hope that you will also experience personal growth as you learn new fundamentals and appropriate policies and procedures needed to help implement the changes here at All State. After each training, we will provide a survey Via email, this will allow you all to provide feedback and opinions on the effectiveness of the courses. Those that complete the survey will be entered into a $100 gift card drawing as we do appreciate your time, effort and productivity as we make company changes.
The trainings will be online, and staff will be given different options and time slots to choose from to complete the coursework training.
Thank you all for your cooperation, I appreciate each staff member, remember that we are the “good hands people” and that the community continues to need our support!
Communication Analysis
Communicating the change is an important part of creating awareness of change within an organization.
As you will see in our communication plan, it allowed us to create awareness to the employees when drafting our change memo to ensure we address the following:
1. Know your audience and who will it impact
Having to know your stakeholders help you create a strategic kind of communication. Being engage with the correct stakeholders will have a positive impact on success of communication of a change.
2. To inform what’s changing and why the need for change
Determining the target audience that the change would impact will allow you to communicate effectively based on the following questions:
· Will they be receptive to change?
· Will they push back on change?
· Will they want to provide feedback on the change?
· What information do I need to include in the change?
· What motivates them about change?
· What will be the most effective way of communicating the change?
Communicating the change with the audience should be based on the following:
· Justify why change is being implemented.
· Communicate purpose of organizational change.
· Describe strategic goals that will be achieved through change
· Explain how changes to an organization’s internal processes will influence its external stakeholders.
The stakeholders play important part of communicating the change because this could create positive or negative impacts of promoting a change. Communication is the key to engage stakeholders in the change.

2. Select one of the communication pieces that you would have used that is listed in your communication plan, and write the communication in a Word document (either the text or the script, if the communication would have been oral). Be sure to review the Week 6 information and the examples of communication plans and types for more assistance on this piece of the project. If you use any form of communication from templates you find online or in a textbook, be sure to cite your source. Your instructor will grade this based on how well it relates to the audience and stakeholder group to which it is intended.
3. The real-world aspect of this project is that you will write a one- to two-page analysis of one of the media pieces about one of the company's changes written (or provided via oral media) by the company. For this section of the project, please analyze any media, news, or other communications that explained the change going on in the organization. Explain in your paper how the company handled communicating the change to its stakeholders.
