Prepare a policy analysis
Prepare a policy analysis. Your analysis will examine the historical roots of the contemporary issue facing women in the 21st century that you researched assignment 3: Policy Issues Facing Women, and will recommend a specific action that you think ought to be taken on that concern. Please make sure that the analysis includes the following:
An overview of the issue and its relevance to American society.
A historic context that examines how the issue has been addressed by political leaders since the 1970s.
A set of options that the current presidential administration might take to address the issue.
A reflection on what past and present policies regarding the issue have accomplished and of where they have fallen short.
A recommended action for the current presidential administration to take.

Within your essay body, you can use a short citation for any references to our textbook, quotes or paraphrases, or to other published sources you consult. Short citation = including the authors’ last name or names if multiple authors, a page number reference, and including these in parentheses.
Example of how to cite a quote from a published source within your essay:
“Consistent with long-running developments, women currently [2010s] constitute nearly half of paid labor and working mothers are now the norm” (Dubois and Dumenil, 690).
At the end of your essay you must include a list of your references [a bibliography] of all sources used in the essay.
