• Appendices
• Six sources
• One block quote (no more than one)
• No more than four direct quotes and each no more than twenty words.
• At least six paraphrases
• Paging: upper right side starting with first page- no name
• Title Page: Title is boldfaced
• Table of Contents: Boldface title of the page
• Title reappears on the first page of the text in bold.
• Quotes and paraphrases:        All quotes and paraphrases must have a lead-in. Author’s name is followed by date in parentheses. 
• Example: Smith (2012) states. . . .
  All quotes and paraphrases must have an in-text citation at the end with the period after the citation.  
• Examples: (Smith, 2012)
  or if no author (“Understanding the . . .”, 2021). Block quotes are indented, do not get quotation marks, and in-text citation appears after the final period of the block quote.
• Reference page:

The word Reference is centered and in bold.       

Alphabetize the list by author’s last name or if no author the first significant word of the title.

The author's name is last name followed by the first initial of the first name. example: Smith, J.  No author, then use the first significant word of the title to alphabetize.

Titles on the reference page do not get quotation marks or italics. Only the first letter of the first word in the title gets capitalized. 

Example:   The wonders of nature.

            Visuals get their own references.
