1. Using your learning in textbook Chapter 11, find at least three credible sources for your INFORMATIVE speech topic only. Do not do this yet for the persuasive speech as that comes in module 8. Consider using the St. Petersburg College Library Databases, .edu websites, .gov websites, and credible research databases as sources. Google Scholar is also helpful. Remember, newspaper articles, magazine articles, peer reviewed journal articles, databases like Pew Research or Nielsen, etc. are all good places to research.

2. Go to the Speech Research Sources Discussion Topic and create a new thread in which you:

Identify at least three of your sources. Include the hyperlink.

Explain how you’ll apply each of the sources in your informative speech. This does not have to be long, just tell me the piece of information you are quoting from that source or at least how it will help you.
