What are your short term and long term professional goals? How will a dual MBA/MSRE degree from USD help you to achieve these goals? (250- 500 words)

Note- My background is I am a 37yr old Native of San Diego California. I’m a Combat Veteran w/ service in Afghanistan serving in the US Marine Corps. I just finished my undergraduate degree in Occupational Health and safety with a concentration in Construction. I have been working in the Safety Field for over two years and before that working in a multitude of roles in both Maritime Security and Executive protection both stateside and overseas. My dream is to eventually get into the world of Commercial Real estate and business here in my hometown of San Diego. The school/ program that I am applying for is the dual MBA/MSRE program at Knauss Business school at USD(University of San Diego). This is my first choice because I have always heard great things about this school because my sister is an Alumni at USD. I always wanted to follow in her footsteps. This program has an elite reputation and I want nothing more than to join the ranks of the Knauss Business school community. I believe that this opportunity will allow me to explore and launch an entirely new and exciting career path in the world of Real Estate and Business.
