Develop written communication of varying forms and for various audiences.
Tailor a written piece to a specific, identified audience.
Adapt to the needs and expectations of varied readers and audiences in the workplace.
Create effective, persuasive proposals of various types.
Instructions
Step 1: Read pp. 543-546, Section 13.7.
Step 2: Select a topic of your choice for your research proposal project (due in week 10).
Step 3: Research your topic to ensure you will have enough outside resources to complete your project.
Step 4: Ensure you are researching only scholarly works. It is recommended to use Concorde’s Online Library: http://galesites.com/menu/index.php?loc=miss22358&id=concordeLinks to an external site.
Step 5: Submit your topic along with at least two (2) relevant articles supporting your choice of topic.
Assignment Submission:
The use of outside resources is recommended and all papers must be cited and written in APA format.
Once you have completed the assignment, click the Submit Assignment option in the menu to the right and select a format for submitting your assignment.
To earn full points though you’ll want to make sure to develop the idea (discussing why it’s important to you, what you might like to learn etc).
If you start with your idea and then follow the rubric for points you should be able to pull a few more things out than only your topic. I’ve seen them be a few paragraphs and even a page or two.
