She was born in Los Angeles, California, moved to the suburbs at a young age and always felt misunderstood, bullied, out of place in a conscience environment with not many black people around that she could connect with, or embrace her true identity with. She lived with my mother, father, and younger brother, but has big family roots across multiple states.
