You must present the chatbot with a prompt that allows it to compare and contrast (ideally) two criminological theories of your choosing. Limit the chatbot to a 1,500 word response. Create a grading rubric that balances substance (i.e., the class learning objectives) and quality of the writing (e.g., coherency, grammar, organization, etc.). Grade the essay based on the rubric, providing domain-specific and overall scores. Include in your grading of the essay an overall summary of 2-3 strengths and 2-3 weaknesses. Identify 10 refereed articles published in academic journals that, should the chatbot had engaged with the research, would have improved the essay and provide a one-sentence explanation for each reference of how it would have done so. Students are advised to consult the bibliography of the textbook and conduct searches on Google Scholar to identify, read, and assess the merits of relevant articles. Accessing Google Scholar while on the UCB network, whether on campus or off- campus using CU’s virtual private network, will permit access to full-text articles via the university’s library subscription plan.
Requirements: Submit the following as a single PDF in the following order:
Title page containing a title that conveys the focus of your essay, along with your name and date of submission
The prompt entered into the AI chatbot and the essay response that is copied and pasted verbatim
The grading rubric you created, associated scores, and overall grade assigned, along with the identified strengths and weaknesses of the essay.
The 10 refereed articles included as a bibliography with the one sentence explanation listed in the line immediately below the citation.
