I’ve sat in my chair for fifteen minutes, brow narrowed, hands steepled, lips pursed as I can’t recollect a moment where I’ve used the reframing technique. Nonetheless, my mind tells me that surely there must have a been moment in your life when the reframing technique became yours. Yet another part of my brain continues to urge me to read the textbook again, a chapter so unexpectedly convoluted that not even the lecture could rescue me from my confusion. I always read Heinrichs before playing the lectures so as to refine my understanding of the subject. However, my smelly behemoth of a body is still baffled on this temperate Tuesday night. Surely it’s just me being lazy, my mind tells me. If you don’t understand, read the chapter again… do it. But it can’t be, for a fact it shouldn’t be possible that my laziness is holding me back from giving this concept a second try. I’m not lazy; the material is merely too abstruse for an ignoramus to grasp.
I have concluded I must end the discussion post here because blockheads were never meant to understand anything as convoluted as this. (1) I am a blockhead. (2) Convoluted information isn’t for blockheads. Hence, there is no need for me to write further on a topic I will never understand.
Alternatively, my mind concludes I’m just being lazy. Premises: (1) You don’t want to reread Heinrichs. (2) Heinrichs Chapter 12 has all the information you need. Because I don’t want to reread Chapter 12 I am therefore lazy.
Maybe it’s not that I’m lazy but the fact my mind isn’t reliable enough to stop me from being so.

For example, every time I watch a movie with my family and they don’t like it, but I do, I tend to say things like “it wasn’t bad, you guys just understood the movie differently”, because I can’t accept that I loved it and they didn’t. Another example is when I recommend a Starbucks drink and they don’t like it, instead of being like “okay, it’s not for you” I usually say things like “the drink is good, they just didn’t do it right”. This topic made me realize that I sometimes struggle to accept other’s opinions.
My conclusion: Mexico is amazing that I love it so much and I go visit every year.
1st Premise: I have positive experiences every time I go. 2nd Premise: I appreciate my culture which makes me love it.
My conclusion follows my premises because it explains what lead me to liking Mexico and why I go every year.
