Project Scope
The main goal of this project is to create awareness and promote mental health within the Pasadena community. The event will be helpful to individuals suffering from mental illnesses because it will foster a sense of understanding and unity among them (Larsen & Becker, 2021). We intend to raise a minimum of $600,000 by organizing and executing a fundraising walk. The targeted registration is a minimum of 10,000 participants. Another deliverable to achieve this objective is to implement safety and logistic measures for the fundraiser walk participants. Lastly, we shall arrange to collect donations from various sponsors
This event will also be a way to mobilize various stakeholders to support the local mental health institutions and resources financially. We intend to generate a minimum of $200,000 by auctioning various donated items, experiences, and services. One of the deliverables to generate this income is procuring different auction items from donors and well-wishers. We shall also execute and allocate various proceeds to the local programs that enhance mental health.
A concert featuring local performers will be a helpful tool and opportunity to showcase art that promotes resilience and unity for people suffering from mental illnesses. We intend to host a concert with at least 7000 attendees and raise at least $200,000. To achieve this objective, we shall secure a decent venue, promote it, prepare, and coordinate the local performers, and manage inspiring and entertaining programs that promote mental health awareness.
Another primary goal is to heighten awareness around mental well-being while diminishing associated prejudices and biases.
