2. Identify three possible problems with the approach. Use examples to discuss each problem.

3. Compare and contrast Marx’s theory of economic determinism with Weber’s emphasis on culture, politics, and the economy.

4. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of “getting in” in terms of being a known vs. unknown researcher.

5. Discuss Emile Durkheim’s theory of structural functionalism, social determinism, and social bonds. Apply his theory to the Haka clips provided in Module 2.
