Explain the process of measurement you will use to track the progress of your case study. Remember, this is NOT ABC data collection. Instead, choose a data collection method to utilize while the behavior plan is being implemented. Within your assignment, speak to the following:
· Which data collection method did you choose?
· Why did you choose that method?
· Why were other options ruled out?
· Ensure you speak to the environmental aspects contributing to your decision.
· Be sure to support your decision with at least one scholarly or professional resource.
In your explanation, take into consideration environmental variables, available resources, and behavior of interest relevant to your case study. Remember, applied behavior analysts measure behavior to answer questions about the existence and nature of functional relations between socially significant behavior and environmental variables.
In this section, you will determine an appropriate measurement system for your target behavior. This should include what dimension(s) (e.g., frequency, duration, latency, intensity) you will be measuring for your target behavior and, if applicable, your replacement behavior. You may also want to use a percentage for measuring mastery criteria for your replacement behavior (e.g., FCT % of correct responses out of presented opportunities) if this is appropriate for the behavior.
You will also be explaining what your data collection procedures are. These procedures should be appropriate for the setting in which data collection is occurring and the people who are collecting the data. If the person collecting data is not well-versed in data collection, you may want to consider a more simplistic system.
You will include in this section how you would attempt to control for confounding variables that may affect data collection. Indicate how you are decreasing observer drift and bias.

Data Display
Select an appropriate form of visual display of behavioral data (choose from line graphs, bar graphs, cumulative records, semilogarithmic charts, or scatterplots) from which valid and reliable decisions are best analyzed in your case study.
· Identify a format to visually display the data.
· Discuss why you choose this one and ruled out other options.
· Please be sure your graph includes baseline as well as intervention data. Remember, this is hypothetical data.
· Be sure to support your decision with at least one scholarly or professional resource.
Select an appropriate form of visual display of behavioral data (choose from line graphs, bar graphs, cumulative records, semi-logarithmic charts, or scatterplots) from which valid and reliable decisions are best analyzed in your case study. Remember, the visual format you select should depend on the type of raw data you collect from your case study and the primary purpose of its evaluation. This should be done for your target behavior. If you would like, you may also graph the replacement behavior, but it is not a requirement for the assignment.
