For this assignment, you are required to develop a small training exercise in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. Review previous needs assessments and training observations conducted at your workplace to help identify one area for improvement that would benefit your organization. This training exercise does not need to be implemented but should include at least one deliverable that you could use during the training exercise. As you are reviewing your organization, consider employee engagement, systems and procedures, communication, resources, succession planning, and the culture within the organization. These are only suggestions for possible areas that could benefit from a training exercise.
Create an 8-10 slide PowerPoint presentation of your training exercise, with speaker notes, and include the following:
What are the overall goals for the training or the benefit to the selected organization?
What are two specific objectives for the training exercise?
What processes or procedures will change after the training has been completed?
Describe the strategies or actions involved in the training exercise to meet the established goals and objectives. What is the expected employee performance or application after the training? How will the strategies drive successful business results and improve employee performance?
How will the organization provide support to the current employees receiving this training? To new employees? How will the effectiveness of the training exercise be measured to confirm the anticipated improvement of employee performance?
Cite and reference a minimum of three scholarly sources with one being the textbook.

Training and development programs are irreplaceable contributors to the success of an organization. This is so because these programs provide space for skill growth, and knowledge addition among other factors for organizational success. Training and development programs can take different forms however ideally, the most preferable one is leadership training. Leadership training is the training I can fearlessly recommend to any organization including our local organization in the state because of the wealth of benefits it conveys. The one reason why I highly recommend this training is because our organization majorly focuses on raising employees who will mutate into leaders. So by having the program in place, riding towards the organization’s goal won’t be too difficult. So that being said, leadership training is a promoter of KSAs (knowledge, skills, and attitude). These three are the most essential factors any employee must have to improve on performance. As confirmed by Day et al. (2021), KSAs serve as the fundamentals for improved job performance since through them, one is equipped with communication skills and emotional intelligence which are necessary especially when dealing with a client. KSAs are dynamic since they facilitate the improvement of employee performance while nurturing leadership skills. To effectively conduct leadership training, it is necessary to develop goals and encourage participants to have personal goals. This is the most effective way because after all, leaders must be goal setters thus it will be a practical way to start off the training. Furthermore, according to Steinmann et al (2018), goals induce people to utilize their efforts until they get results. This creates a tough personality which is important in leadership. Therefore, for fruitful training that will produce tough leaders, goal setting is vital.
