Download and connect to the raw data Market Caps of S_P500 Companies 2008-2015.xls on Canvas>Files> Tableau Data Files using Tableau. The Excel file lists the market capitalizations of all current and past S&P 500 companies between 2008 and 2015. The list includes all companies that have been part of the index any time since Dec 31,2008.

Carry out the necessary data prep functions. [i.e. Clean the data using data interpreter. Pivot the years. Convert the nulls to zeros for the new Market caps column data and name it Corrected Market Cap using the calculation function. Remember, do not remove company data in the process.]
