– 5 information slides that contain (the Title Slide does not count)
– 4 new facts about the topic of your choice that are NOT included in the course
textbook,
– 3 images to exemplify or add further context to your topic,
– 2 citations to show where your new facts came from, and
– 1 discussion question that you wish to pose to your peers in the class

Select a particular aesthetic artifact (piece of clothing, visual media, advertisement,
architecture, political propaganda, etc.) and then create a slide deck in the following
5-4-3-2-1 format:
– 5 information slides (the Title Slide does not count),
– 4 images that are examples of the certain aesthetic artifact that you are examining in
detail
– 3 concrete connections between this artifact and the time period discussed in the
chapter reading,
– 2 citations to show where your images came from, and
– 1 discussion question that you wish to pose to your peers in the class

social movement, artistic movement, scientific development, labor movement, military
conflict, etc.), and then create a slide deck in the following 5-4-3-2-1 format:

-4 facts about the missing topic that connect it to the rest of the content of the
assigned readings
– 3 images/charts/graphs that help explain the historical significance of the missing
topic that you have selected
– 2 citations to show where your information came from, and
– 1 discussion question that you wish to pose to your peers
