From your readings in this unit concerning the late 19th and early 20th centuries, how significant do you think class divisions were in the late 19th century America? How did different people (including, for instance, writers for magazines, political platforms, etc.) from the period perceive class relations and solutions to them and why? What were their experiences, values, and biases?
