Interview Response Paper (Final): Students will identify and interview a person of their choice who has been in addiction recovery for at least one year without relapse. Then, the student will write a paper addressing the questions provided. Use as many direct quotations from the person as possible. Use lots of specific detail when asking questions and recording their answers. The student is to write the paper in “question and answer” format and is encouraged to add discussion sections as appropriate to discuss course topics and readings. Final paper should be between 3-5 pages in length, double- spaced, 12-point font, 1-inch margins. Questions for the interview are at the end of this syllabus.

While employed for Behavioral Health Services, Inc., Macy and Emma became friends. Emma worked as a residential case manager for BHS-American Recovery Center, which provides detox, inpatient, and outpatient programs for those who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs. As a Mental Health Case Manager, I was employed by BHS-Integrated Care Services. helping clients re-establish contact with a mental health professional. We are now coworkers for a new employer.
