These words from a Chinese online forum, translated in English, are purported to be the originator of the “tang ping”, or “lying flat” trend in China where predominantly young Chinese workers are advocating for a lifestyle change by not overworking and rejecting the rat race.
With reference to your current or former workplace [If you are a full-time student and currently not working, you may choose an organization you are familiar with, e.g., as a volunteer], examine leadership’s role in employees overworking and engaging in the rat race. Avoid identifying persons by name in your post – please be sensitive and professional.
The word limit for DB is 300, please write concisely and clearly. You would need to minimally cite your textbook or any other textbook or journals for the concepts/theories/approaches you have discussed.
