A 500 word essay (with citations in MLA, APA or Chicago Style), describing how your visualization is a reflection of a historical change from the space’s original/historical use, as you have conceptualized for the assignment. This should include a brief description of the space (as it was historically designed), as a reflection of a particular historic-socio-cultural world-view, paying attention to how the forms were a response to a historical context, peoples and their beliefs. The majority of your essay should describe your concept surrounding the transformation. How do the fixtures, finishes, equipment, spaces you have selected and represented speak to the historic-socio-cultural world-views of the context/people you are envisioning this space being taken over / transformed by?
