In Chapter 1 of Creative Thinking and Arts-Based Learning, you read about graphic organizers and how they can be used for teaching and learning (pp.19-20).
you will be creating a Vertical Bracket List, a graphic organizer of a teacher’s role in the classroom to encourage creativity.

Look for ways the teacher directly supports students learning such as telling or showing the child how to do something. In the first bracket, list the ways the teacher supports the children’s creativity directly.
Also, look for ways the teacher indirectly supports students in their learning such as asking questions and providing materials. In the second bracket, list the ways the teacher indirectly supports children’s creativity indirectly.
After completing the graphic organizer, summarize in a paragraph the teacher’s role observed in the video.
