At one point in the film, Ray admits to feeling left behind and inadequate, even though she is highly regarded as a brilliant designer.
While their marital problems certainly played a significant part in this, what had changed in the work they were doing that was at the core of their professional disconnect and Ray’s belief that she was unable to contribute?
