You will need to click on LEARN ANYWHERE –> CHOOSE A PARK (Yellowstone, Everglades, or Monterey Bay)–> CLICK ON A PICTURE FOR A GUIDE. Each guide has lessons and activities within it.
(3) Review the 2nd Grade MSCCR social studies standards.
After completing the preliminary work above, respond to the following:
Question #1: Identify the title of a lesson plan from the National Geographic website. Describe the lesson with enough detail that I can understand what will happen in the lesson.
Question #2: Identify the 2nd grade MCCR standard the lesson would fit under. Explain how it satisfies this standard.
Question #3: Identify at least one of the five essential characteristics of powerful social studies in the lesson plan and explain how the characteristic is found in the lesson plan.
