Parents of a 5-year-old and a 9-year-old are struggling to deal with their children.
9-year-old is gifted and talks non-stop.
5-year-old is displaying delays in speech and language, and social development. They tend to speak loudly, usually
with sounds most people do not understand.
These parents are seeking resources, supports and ideas they can use as a family.
We will choose a topic of need that a family might have from the above scenario. We will research and find an agency EACH in the local community that could support this need ( South Western Ontario).
review the family scenario assigned and develop a “Story” we will write one- two paragraph document on Microsoft Word that describes and highlights the family. Be creative with our story, give the family names, identify the key information provided. Describe what are the identified needs within the family, what are we addressing and why did we choose those Resources for the family to seek more information from?
We will each research one organization. We will each write a one-page document with the following information:
