Compare and contrast in a discussion the two artist’s use of value and space. These are not works you would know – they were not included in the book or class content. How is the sense of space developed? How is the sense of dimension to the figures similar or different?
You should address several of the relevant concepts which should include the concepts of space, value, light, chiaroscuro, atmospheric perspective, overlapping, volume, shape as it pertains to one or both of these images. You may point out if one or both of these lacks any of these and why you would say this. It would also be relevant to consider how the use of these concepts affect how you read the image or how you eye moves around the image.
