Identify a specific Public Service Organization (PSO) that has recently undergone a major change or reform; or a specific public service organization that might change as a result of pending legislative action or market/environmental conditions. Another option would be to discuss a change to a nonprofit organization given its operating environment. Below are some examples of organizations that have undergone reforms and changes. The types of changes have been mentioned or discussed in class:
Changes in the NonProfit food distribution systems … Specific to a particular NonProfit
Post Covid changes in the CDC and its leadership structure … also could be the state CDC where you live and/or their NonProfit partners
Changes and proposals for Student Loan Reform and the actors in those changes
Current efforts to protect the Capital and the players in that effort post January 6th
How a local NonProfit organization has had to pivot to remain relevant and survive in the Covid era

Here is the definition of a Public Service Organization we are using for this exercise:
Public Service Organization means:
(1) A Federal, State, local, or Tribal government organization, agency, or entity;
(2) A public child or family service agency;
(3) A non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
