Imagine you are a manager at a major potato chip/snack company. Customers have begun to complain that the bags of the leading flavor of potato chip produced in your company contain less than the advertised twenty (20) ounces of product by weight. Your supervisor wants to solve the problem at hand and has asked you to investigate.
You have your employees pull thirty (30) bags off the line at random from all the shifts at the production plant. You ask your employees to measure the weight of chips there is in each bag. The results of your sample and your calculations are shown in the Excel file provided in the assignment instructions in Blackboard.
Write a two to three (2–3) page report using the provided template in which you:
1. Construct a box-and-whisker plot for the weight of chips in the bags.
1. Copy the sample mean, median, and standard deviation for weight of chips in the bags.
