(25) Degree presentation mark: Maximum -3 (Assignment 1) Spelling, grammar and syntax errors (should use UK / SA English NOT US English) Using 1st person (I, we, us, etc.) or use of slang, informal language, colloquialisms, such as telly versus television or ads versus advertisements -1 Incorrect referencing technique, i.e. adding a bibliography instead of a reference list, or not using the approved IMM Graduate School Guideline to Harvard Referencing System technique such as APA, Chicago etc. and/or incorrect citation -1 Limited references used 1st year minimum of 2 references for Assignment 1 (excluding textbook and study guide), 2nd year minimum of 2 references (excluding textbook and study guide), and 3 rd year minimum of 6 references (excluding textbook and study guide). 3rd year minimum of 3 references (excluding textbook and study guide).
