Integration paper
Write one Integration paper (roughly 1,200 words) on the material assigned.
Apply an idea from the assigned Mayers chapters (5,6) to a video from Course Content. Use one of the ideas to expand, contrast, or illustrate the other.
There is a grade rubric, example papers and a Pp with detailed instructions in the Assignments tab.

Choose an idea or concept from the Mayer chapter(s) assigned for the week the paper is due. Choose a video or articles from the Course Content for the week. Integrate the two ideas
· “To integrate” means to do one or more of the following:
Compare one concept in the two different sources.
Show where the two sources disagree or agree on an idea and discuss why.
Use one source to illustrate or go in depth on an idea from the other source.
NOTE: The purpose of the paper is to integrate the ideas, not repeat them. Do not describe the ideas in great detail. But do describe them enough that it is obvious that you understand them. Also, cite the sources you use and pages so readers can review if they want.
End with three lessons. End the paper with at least three lessons learned, conclusions reached, or recommendations derived. These can be mixed as in, for example, two lessons and one recommendation.
In addition, the paper will be posted in the Discussion for the following week. The dates are on the sign-up sheet. The intent is to review material from the previous week and to help the class link ideas from week to week.
Format details: Use the headings in the Rubric and bold them. This will make the paper easier to read. When using ideas from the textbook, article or video, cite the source using APA format. Citations require a bibliography. If you are rusty on how to do this, there are links to OWL under the Assignments tab. This is a formal paper so use formal language. The paper should be about 1,200 words, double spaced. Create a cover page.
