GOAL
The development of a concept and rationale statement is an imperative beginning step in the process of creating your portfolio of student work. The concept and rationale serve as the basis of all decisions as you apply the design process when creating your portfolio.
CONSIDERATIONS
The concept statement for the portfolio is a simple declaration of one to two sentences, expressing the overall idea, inspiration, and vision of the project with the intent of your design. The rationale expresses how the concept is applied to the overall design and how the objective is accomplished. This statement is longer in length and includes several principles and elements of design.
The grading criteria for the concept and rationale statements for your portfolio must answer the following:
Was the concept clearly identified?
Was the concept original, unique, and did it make a lasting impression?
Was the rationale statement clearly identified?
Were design principles and elements used in rationale statement?
Were correct grammar and sentence structure utilized?

Noted: I already started the template for the portfolio but it is not completed. The attached file you will see the layout and it will give you an idea of the concept. You are not going to talk about any projects included there. You will just talk about the concept of the portfolio.

THE CANOPYWALKAtlanta is known as the City in a Forest? because of its abundant tree cover. Atlanta Botanical Garden is one of the crucial destinations that represent the city of Atlanta. The Canopy Walk is one of the most popular attractions in the park where the path provides an unforgettable experience for the visitors, where they find themselves surrounded by different types of trees that represent part of the city of Atlanta, such as magnolia trees, which are distinguished by their different charming colors. The purpose of the canopy walk is to give the visitors an opportunity to see the gardens and flowers from a different perspective and view than they might get while on the ground. It also allows you to get from one part of the gardens to the other more quickly than walking on the ground. It is believed that the suspension bridge contains the biggest walkway of its kind in the United States. The concept brings in the idea of a walk-through nature, a perfect way to de-stress during a day of traveling, that will bring nature to the interior of Atlanta International Airport to inspire tourists with the reality of the city of Atlanta from the first moment they arrive in this beautiful city, which will enable them to feel comfortable and reduce anxiety after the exhausting of their long flights. Along the canopy walk, there is a terrace that provides a moment of pause to take in the view. This is reflected in the space with the patio, a place of relaxing socialization, and the overlook above the stairway and dining area, as two moments to stop and view during your walk. 121
