Then, I would like you to write a 2+ page paper, discussing what is means to be empathic. I would like you to reference specific ideas from the video/podcast (show me that you watched/listened to it). Tie in examples from your own life. Some ideas to consider are: A time when you were empathic; a time when you should have been empathic, but weren’t sure what to do (what should you have done?); a time when you saw someone else being empathic (and how you felt about it); or a time when you saw someone NOT be empathic when they should have.
Being empathic is a life skill that (study after study is showing us) is declining. I really want you to think about this, and hopefully take away something important from this section in your chapter and the video.
