This is in line with other systematic literature reviews that organize, evaluate, and synthesize knowledge in a particular field and provide an overall picture of knowledge and suggestions for future research (Petticrew and Roberts 2008; Crossan and Apaydin 2010; Siddaway et al. 2019). To this end, we followed the systematic literature review approach described by Siddaway et al. ( 2019) and Gough et al. ( 2017) to ensure a methodical, transparent, and replicable approach.”
Findings: “Performance evaluations carried out by an algorithm are less likely to be perceived as fair and trustworthy, and at the same time, they evoke more negative feelings than human decisions.”
