What Logical Fallacy?

I was involved in office politics was about a year ago. It was December and we were on our last day to work before Christmas break. I was taking my last lot out of the tool and hit them on the door and broke a handful of wafers. I was cleaning them up when my coworker who was staying later then I was told me to go home and that he would take care of it for me. I left thinking everything was good to go.
So a couple of weeks go by and we are all returning to work. I got pulled aside by one of my sups asking me about the wafers that I broke. I told him that they should have been taken care of by another coworker. He then told me they were just left on the shelf with missing wafers and no note of them.
