Then choose three things you learned about this group that are not directly related to sexual behavior. The aim here is to tell us about the people, to remind us that these other cultures are not just sentences in a book – so be sure to not focus on the sexual aspects only. They may do things differently, but different is not always right or wrong, better or worse, sometimes it is just different. Keep the idea of ethnocentrism in mind while learning and sharing a bit more about the culture you decided to learn about and consider a ‘rules of engagement’ statement about not yucking someone’s yum’ 🙂
