Self reflection and i noticed this major was not for me. So going to a school thats known for what i want to become an accountant is the correct fit for me so that i could network and gain more connections.
3) What unique attributes and talents you will bring to campus.
Integrity, respect and ambition
(Going to this school will be a perfect fit for me because i will be able to receive more opportunities for student life and more connections for my future. What lead me away from my current institution is three things:)
During my Spring semester of 2022, I went through a moment of self reflection where i realized that becoming a pharmacist was not the path i wanted to go through. In the course of that journey, I thought computer science would be for me then I noticed in the business field was what I wanted. Around that time, I also got employed at a growing ice cream shop in Chinatown. I really respected how they run their business and how team-orientated they are. Ever since I was an adolescent, I helped my late father as a street vendor and he sold cellphone accessories, since I was younger and knew what my generation wanted, I helped him pick products that would get him more clients. I look back at this and I am grateful for the experiences I have been given that’s inspired me to my career goals.
Although I struggled to maintain my grades while majoring in pharmaceutical science due to me noticing that it was not my passion at all. I am glad that I did not suffer in silence. I had great faculty at my current school to talk with and noticed that this school I would love to transfer into is the one for me and my potential field. The SEEK program really helped me financially to get through my classes and I had a great counselor that would check up on me and mad sure I was on track. I hope to keep my SEEK status once I have successfully transferred to the college of my dreams.
