1. I think maturing faster is a good thing in a way if it was mental maturity. But often times when kids mature faster…or slower physically, it results in bullying and criticism early on in schools which results in that child to develop insecurities early on and a negative self image. So I don’t think it’s a good thing in that sense.
2. The other hormone that could’ve been affected by his condition is the HGH hormone or growth hormone because that hormone pertains to our height and building muscles and bones. Which those were all affected in Patrick.

1. I would disagree with this statement when they are a young age, however it may be beneficial when they are older. At a young age, people may have higher expectations for the child because they seem older than they are. This would be difficult for the child if they are not as mentally mature as they physically look. It also seems to be difficult for a child in their younger school ages when they look different from everyone else. This could lead to being bullied. However, maturing faster may be good when they are in the high school age because that is when children want to look older and mature. This could also be beneficial for someone playing sports at this age.
2. Another hormone that could have affected this condition is the growth hormone.
