Exemplary Follower Assignment The purpose of this assignment is to understand the characteristics, behaviors, and motivations of exemplary followers, to learn takeaway lessons about followership, and discover what best practices can be adopted in your own situations and potential workplaces. You will identify at least four (4) exemplary followers. These followers may be: On-campus staff who you have noticed go out of their way to do a good job (campus bus drivers, baristas at Starbucks, cafeteria workers, housekeeping staff, security officers, etc.). You may also interview employees of local organizations (i.e., Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Zaxby’s, Mcdonald’s, Chick-fil-a, etc.) If you would like to interview others who do not fall within the above definitions, you must obtain prior approval from me first. : MGT 3220 Page 12 Please note: You may not interview past or current students, faculty members, success coaches, or resident directors.
