Retinal detachment surgery.

The patient was seen for retinal detachment surgery. Tears were noted not only at 4:30, but also at the 5 o’clock that were out near the vitreous base, and there was a large tear running radially along the edge of the detachment and traction of vitreous from 6:30 all the way past the equator and about 3 disc diameters from the optic nerve head.
