The Critical Reflection Essay focuses on the student’s own individual role within the planning rotations with their team. The student self-reflects on their own interactions, and contributions to the team by examining their own interpersonal skills. The critical reflection essay is made up of five sections (one for each rotation within the course). After each rotation, the student reflects on their strengths and on their growth areas as an individual within a team. In doing so, the student should use the content of the chapters for that rotation to describe their strengths and growth areas. Additionally, the Critical Reflection should connect the students own experiential learning to the profession of an Educational Assistant in a school setting. Students are encouraged to write/draft each section for the critical reflection essay immediately following Day 2 of each Rotation. The experiential learning model will be the bases for completing this assignment Textbook may be required to complete this assignment as citations may be used to support the reflection The assignment will have five distinct sections (one for each rotation)
