As a early childhood education educator Develop a individual plan for support and inclusion of at least one child. This can relate to a child who currently attends your centre or not. 

a. Step 1 identify barriers, document how you have considered the child’s abilities, goals, interests, expectations and health status in the context of their cultural values, needs and requirements when making decisions.  

b. Step 2 Develop and document the plan in consultation with other professionals and the family.   

Develop a holistic understanding of child’s needs in collaboration with others and use this information for planning.

ii. Document how you Interact with children and families in ways that demonstrate belief in children’s capacity to succeed and achieve learning outcomes.  

iii. Plan strategies for individual support and inclusion and explain how these are developed. 

iv. Describe how you will adapt environment, routines and curriculum to facilitate inclusion of the child.  

v. Describe how you the child’s and family’s right to privacy will be respected. 

c. Step 4 Monitor and evaluate strategies, review your plan.
