In this Study Room we will practice the following: ONE POST REQUIRED (but post as many times as you want) 300 Word Minimum In this week’s Study Room we will practice formulating counter-arguments and responding to them. 1) Please outline or present an argument that you are thinking about using in your essay. You do not need to state it completely presenting all the evidence, but present a clear conclusion and at least one clear premise. 2) Formulate a counter-argument to this argument. Do your best to make the counter-argument as strong as you can. Try to put yourself in the position of someone who would oppose your position. 3) Respond to the counter-argument. Provide a direct and honest evaluation-think about whether or not the counter-argument significantly weakens or introduces additional information and evidence that must be considered.
