Here at Little Wonders Early Learning Center, we strive for success. We are here to help your child in any way that we can. Here they learn shapes, colors, numbers, and the alphabet, learn how to read, and have a different theme every week and learn about different things.
Welcoming families is important because we want you to feel welcomed when you walk into the classroom. We want you to be able to participate in the activities we do when we do family night. We take family engagement very seriously here at the center. The more the children’s parents are involved in the school, the better it is to keep in contact with the parents to see how their student is doing or maybe we can have a parent come in every once in a while, and describe their role in where they work.
Our theme for this month is
“Autumn” and we are going to learn about different colored leaves and learn about how they change color. Our color theme is orange so that is perfect. The shape we will be learning about is a triangle.
The last Friday of every month we will be having a Family Night from 6-7pm. It will be mostly what we have learned in the past month.
This is a program that both parents and children can work on to improve their reading skills. Parents will mostly focus on Expressing Needs and Feelings, Establishing Independence, Understanding What Families Value, Sharing/Cooperating, and Self- Possibilities.
Families will get these materials weekly along with a reading log. Children will get their own materials also followed by a reading log as well. Parents should be reading with their children and going over what they have learned. There are activities that go along with each theme so it keeps both parties engaged.
