Beyond your vision statement, take one page or less to describe the relationship between your current vision statement and one you may have articulated or dreamed of earlier. What are the similarities? What are the differences? How do flaceount for these similarities/differences (if you have not previously articulated your vision statement or cannot find it, simply state that in your paper)? CURRENT VISION STATEMENT Actively engage with my surroundings rather than merely observe them and develop viewpoints based on reasonable justifications and explanations while maintaining an open mind. I want to be humble, constantly considering the likelihood and potential of being wrong. Always remember that relationships necessitate effort and nurturing. I acknowledge that they are worthwhile, therefore I must let my family and people who are close to me see me and also generously give of myself, my time, and my resources to those in need. Most importantly, for my peace of mind, I need to be quick to forgive and slow to anger. I want to be a transformative leader who radiates bravery and loyalty and is motivated by compassion, faith, and patience to utilize self-growth and thoughtful reflection to strengthen and develop other individuals, teams, and organizations. 2. In addition, what do you see as the specific connections between your vision and your purpose statement and your core values? For example, how do the various parts of your vision connect to the parts of your purpose statement? How do you specifically see your core values expressed in your vision? This last part should be a short, but rigorous assessment of the connections and disconnections between your vision and your purpose statement. This Exercise should be no more than four pages. LIFE PURPOSE STATEMENT As I’ve already stated, I think I’ve been given many chances to live, be healthy, have food to eat, and have a roof over my head. Even though these seemingly straightforward needs may seem simple, they are the toughest to accomplish in today’s world. Knowing that there is more to life than just getting by and surviving, is the only thing that will keep me motivated and keep me intrigued so thatl may satisfy not just my own desires but also of those around me. Hence, my purpose statement measures up well against your ultimate values.
