Make a storyboard of your ad (write and describe a 30-second ad – including dialogue, set the scene, and give details) 

1. Which category/categories does your advertisement fall into (some examples are below but it may be another)?

2.      What is your product or service? Can be brand new or can be a made up item. (IF you pick an already existing item – your advertisement needs to be new and innovative – cannot be a just a remake of the old ad)

3.      Who will be in your ad and why? For example, a famous person or a specific demographic of people.

4.      What is your tagline or catchphrase?

5.      How will you reach your target audience? EX: time of day to run ads or types of locations or types of related activities.

6.      What types of ads will you have – print, television, billboards, radio, and the internet? EX: Radio, podcast, television commercial, mail, email, and/or social media?

7.      What did you base your idea on (the information in class, previous ads, what you think ads should be doing)?

8.      Why do you think your ad will be successful?

9.      Find a song that fits your advertisement – what is it and by who? Explain why this song fits your ad.

10.  What will your ad try to avoid, given your target audience?
