LOVE In love, there is a feeling of ambivalence in the relationship between two or more parties, characterized by an ambivalent feeling of love and hate. And I always ask myself what can make you love anyone or anything? Is affection, beauty, or even being funny popular? I’ve come to understand that love can sometimes be understanding and sometimes nonunderstanding and also love makes us vulnerable by trusting and relying on others so much and love can turn to hate. The idea that someone loves a particular object, principle, or goal can be attributed to their deep commitment to and deep value of it. Often, compassion outreach workers and volunteer workers are driven by an impersonal love and altruistic commitment, or by strong spiritual or political convictions that are not based on interpersonal love.
