I am a  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in family medicine for fairview, I provide patient care. Chronic illnesses, routine exams, well-child visits, high blood pressure, bronchitis, diabetes (type 1 and type 2), DOT physicals, weight management, health risk analyses, and more are among our areas of expertise. I have dealt with people who have been as little as 72 hours old and as old as 98. As a member of a broader medical team, it is my responsibility to provide patients with necessary medical care and evaluate their well-being. I have to keep track of patients’ vital signs and enter them into Epic. administering vaccines, updating patient records in a private manner, submitting papers for physicals for school, sports, camps, employment, and insurance, phoning patients with lab results, and helping the doctor with procedures. Ensure patients are recovering effectively after procedures.
